Summary

Niranjan is a Manager with over 8years of experience in ERP security and controls implementations, general IT control reviews, project risk assessments and business process reviews. Niranjan has served publicly registered as well as private entities in audit or advisory role across multiple industries. His experience includes security and controls services within JD Edwards (JDE), Lawson, Oracle EBS and PeopleSoft ERP environments and he specializes in JDE security & controls implementations.

Niranjan has served on all life cycle phases of ERPsecurity & controls implementations, including requirements gathering, design of the functional as well as data security roles, design of menu security, deployment of security roles, pilot testing, user acceptance testing, cut over activities prior to go live and segregation of duties evaluations.

Selected Experience

Led teams in performing pre / post implementation and project risk reviews for enterprise system implementation projects. These include:
Post implementation reviews for Oracle E-Business Suite and Lawson implementations. Activities included reviewing and reporting on technology & business cycle controls at the operating system, database and application level, suggesting efficient control remediation and process improvement options.
Performing a post implementation review for a JDE Enterprise One implementation with a focus on JDE application security, automated business process controls and project management activities. Prepared reports and presented observations to clients.
A project management review for a Soarian Financials & Clinical implementation at a non-profit healthcare provider. Activities included reviewing project management methodology, evaluating design, testing & go-live phases of the project.
Led teamsof resources on JDE Enterprise One security and control implementations. Was responsible for conducting security design workshop sessions with the client resources, presenting JDE security design concepts and security approach alternatives, configuring security through standard JDE and bolt on security tools (such as QSoftware or AllOut), configuring segregation of duty rules, supporting multiple phases of security and process testing, providing ongoingtraining and knowledge transfer to client and Deloitte team members.
Served multiple clients related toSarbanes-Oxley, section 404 readiness projects and IT audit procedures.

Facilitated the CISA review course conducted by the ISACA organization.
