Research 4 Today

Unit 2: Choosing Sides

In the book Chasing Lincoln’s Killer the historical figures have chosen a side based on their strong beliefs. Although Lincoln and Booth chose political sides over a century ago, today’s teenagers are continually expressing their point of view on issues that they feel passionately about. In this unit, you will have the opportunity to voice your point of view on a issue.

-Explore your issue through research.

-Generate a list of political issues-historical or modern-

-Choose one topic that you and your partner feel passionately about and can express your point of view in order to persuade others

-Research articles on both sides of the topic

-Analyze the argument

Using the Word Template, create a Digital Document presenting your point of view of a historical or modern issue that you feel strongly about.
