Project Overview

The mobile app will be developed by Bluelight Technologies to be supported on iOS & Android Phones.

Testing Scope

The following items are IN SCOPE for the test effort:

○The experience for first time users.

○Scan QR Code Feature

●Video Feature (Content)

○Video files will play from within the app.

●Performance Testing

○Download, Installation, Open, Close, Upgrade and Uninstall

○Upgrading the app (where applicable)

○Testing when Device has low battery

○General performance & download speeds on a variety of Network services (3G, 4G, LTE, Wifi, Airplane mode)

○When disconnected from the network.

○When playing videos

■Testing with video playing

○Various Interruptions

■Alerts (Alarm, Meetings, Reminders…)

■Texts

■Incoming call

■Home Button

○When on vibrate/mute, unmute

○Volume control

○Different Brightness levels

○Under heavy load by a large number of users

○Battery consumption of the App

○Resource Utilization (memory & processor)

●Testing will performed on the following mobile devices -

○iPad Air 2 (8.x)

○iPad 3 and 4 ( 7.x)

○iPad mini (8.x)

○iPhone 4 (7.1)

○iPhone 5 (7.1.2)

○iPhone’s 6/6 Plus (iOS 8)

○Android’s Gingerbread (2.3.7)

○Ice Cream Sandwich (4.1)

○Jelly Bean (4.3)

○KitKat (4.4)

The following items are NOT IN SCOPE for the test effort:

●Bluelight Technologies QA team will NOT be responsible for validating accuracy of data being reported via Analytics

●CMS (This is still an open Question)
