Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
At the request of the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh, ADB will offer
assistance to reinforce HP’s efforts at modernizing and reforming its technical and vocational
education and training (TVET) institutions, and scaling up training capacity. For designing the
proposed $80 million “Supporting Skill Development in Himachal Pradesh Project”, and for enhancing
“project readiness”, an experienced consulting firm will be recruited under ADB’s project
preparatory technical assistance.
