4.  Suite Retreat

Paul Chaffee from Software Answers provided these cost saving numbers regarding the use of the electronic file cabinet/vault. See attachment.

Kathy Verhest from Brunswick did a wonderful presentation at the retreat about her district going paperless. I will post this presentation with the roundtable minutes on our website.

a.  Defect – ParentAccess – Report Cards – View Report Card History

1.  See attached PowerPoint – page 10

a.  This has been indentified as a defect – Software Answers is working on this.

b.  Page Redirect – Currently, there is a page redirect to the hosting servers. This page redirect will end either July 1 or December 3st. When this happens, the current bookmarks will no longer work

c.  You will need to provide the new addresses for parents and staff and update the school websites.

d.  Do you prefere July 1 or Deember 31 for this to happen?

·  Lesson Plan report will not be cleaned up in the 16.0 release for the start of school

c.  Schedules on ParentAccess – feature to enable/disable by building or district and if disabled, could it automatically enable the first day of school.

·  The feature to see schedules prior to the first day of school is not likely for the start of this school year.
