Programme title change

For a programme title change this form will need to be considered by the Academic Planning Committee.

The completed form should be submitted electronically to the Academic Quality and Policy Office . If you have any query about how to complete this form, please contact this office. The relevant Faculty Assistant Registrar will seek the Dean’s approval before submitting the form to the Academic Planning Committee for consideration.

Minor programme amendment

Please discuss the proposed amendment with the relevant Faculty Assistant Registrar before completing this form so that s/he can advise whether the proposed changes constitute a minor or major revalidation of the programme and whether this is the correct form to fill in.

The completed form plus attachments should be submitted electronically to the Academic Quality and Policy Office . In the event of any query about how to complete this form, please contact this office. If the programme amendment involves the introduction of a new degree title, e.g. adding a named pathway to an existing programme, the relevant Faculty Assistant Registrar will seek the Dean’s approval before submitting the form to the Academic Planning Committee for consideration.

7. Programme Specification, Course Finder entry and Recruitment and Partnerships
Programme title change
Once the programme title change has been approved by the Academic Planning Committee, the Academic Quality and Policy Office will liaise with the programme team and the Communications team about making changes to the programme specification in the Programme Specification Repository, the CMA template and the Course Finder, and with Recruitment and Partnerships team to ensure that they are aware of the change to a programme title.
Programme Amendment
Once the programme amendment has been approved by the Associate Dean (Education), the Academic Quality and Policy Office will liaise with the programme team about making and finalising changes to the programme specification in the Programme Specification repository and the CMA template
Course Finder entry: Can the programme team confirm that they have discussed with the Communications team possible changes to the current Course Finder entry in the light of the proposed programme amendment?
