Program Quality Review - Program Self-Audit
Each faculty member completes this program self-audit form and submits it to the Team Leader who summarizes the input. The self-audit is intended as a quick reference check to capture faculty input regarding the program in order to guide discussions at the focus groups and to continue to evaluate against the quality criteria.
Criterion 1. Program learning outcomes are set, are consistent with the College mission and the program’s intended purpose, and are appropriate for the credential offered upon completion of the program.Yes / No / Comments
1.1 Program learning outcomes are consistent with the College mission, appropriate to the level at which the qualification is offered, consistent with the requirements of the Credentials Framework, and appropriate to the occupational requirements of the program graduates.
1.2 Program learning outcomes are consistent with MTCU Provincial Program Standards where they exist. / N/A for College Certificates, but any relevant comments can be captured.
1.3 Program learning outcomes are reflected in course outlines.
1.4 Program learning outcomes are used in prior learning and assessment (PLAR).
1.5 Changes to courses and program learning outcomes are introduced on a timely basis and are designed to maintain the relevance of the program.
1.6 The capabilities of program graduates, including knowledge, understanding, skills, and attitudes are consistent with the intended program learning outcomes.
