ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY COLLEGES OF EDUCATION AND TO DEVELOP A MODEL OF HRD ACTIVITIES OF TEACHING MANPOWER’

  1. To study the Human Resource Development Activities undertaken by the colleges of Education.
  2. To compare the Human Resource Development Activities in between the following types of colleges of Education :-
  1. Aided and Unaided colleges of Education.
  2. Minority and Majority Management colleges of Education.
  3. English and Vernacular Medium Colleges of Education.
  4. Urban and Rural colleges of Education.
  1. To Study the Human Resource Development Activities undertaken by the composite colleges (Arts, Science and Commerce)
  2. To compare the Human Resource Development Activities of colleges of Education and composite colleges (Art, Commerce and Science)
  3. On the basis of the study to develop a model of HRD activities to the colleges of Education to develop its teaching manpower.
  1. WHETHER OBJECTIVES WERE : The different types of Colleges of

  1. SUMMARY OF THE FINDINGS :

All of the lecturers opine that the Human the Human Resource Development activities undertaken the Rural colleges is average.

All of the lecturers opine that the Human Resources activity undertaken by the English medium colleges is average.

Most of the lecturers opine that the Human Resource Development activities undertaken by the Marathi medium colleges are average. Few of them opine that it is below average and above average.

Except in the Marathi medium colleges no other type of institutions, even few of the lecturers, do not opine that the planning is above average.

Most of the lecturers opine that the Human Resource Development activities undertaken by the aided colleges are average. Few of them opine that it is below average

Most of the lecturers opine that the Human Resource Development activities undertaken the Urban colleges is average. Few of them opine that it is below average

All of the lecturers opine that the Human the Human Resource Development activities undertaken the Rural colleges is average.

Most of the lecturers opine that the Human Resources Development Activities undertaken by the majority management colleges is average. Few of them opine that it is below average

Most of the lecturers opine that the Human Resource Development Activities of the composite colleges is average .Few of them opine that it is below average.

The data shows that the Human resource activities conducted in composite colleges is near normal

There is significant difference in the Human resource activities conducted in colleges of education and composite colleges.

The composite colleges are far more superior than colleges of education in conducting Human Resource Development activities.

  1. CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY : HRD is continuous Process to ensure the development of employees dynamism effectiveness, competencies and motivation in a systematic and planned manner.

The researcher has developed the model for HRD activities. Which will help the teacher educators to improve the various activities. It will also help to raise the standard of achievement of the teacher trainees. The model will help the teacher trainees to enhance HRD activities and good quality of activity.
