Professor Kim is working at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Pusan National University. He has studies at SeoulNationalUniversity (Bachelor, 1977) and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Master, 1979; Ph.D., 1987). He was a visiting scholar at PurdueUniversity (1990-1991) and at MontrealUniversity (2002-2003). He is also the director of the Institute of Logistics Innovation and Networking in PusanNationalUniversity. His research has been focused on the design and operation problems of container terminals.
