PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Name of the product: Dried parsley leaves, 2mm, 4 mm

Initial raw material:

a) The raw material are the leaves grown specially for these purposes as multi-cutting. Healthy (not damaged by illness, without mold, not steamed). Only the growth without weed can be harvested. After the agreement with the supplier only the costumer approves the harvest before its start.

Raw material must not be GMO.

The leaves cannot contain the residua from spraying and cannot contain the soil.

The length of the plant after the cut on the field: up to 250 mm.

The length of the stem under the branching: max 150 mm.

Cross average of the stem: up to 3,5 mm

b) Allowed deviation

Admixture of the other plants maximum up to 0,5 %, it cannot contain inadmissible weed (bedstraw, prince´s feather etc.). They are removed before the harvest.

Finished product

The produced leaves must be healthy, clean, not effected by micro-organisms and molds, not musty, not damaged by stock pests, without symptoms of foreign smell and flavor.

Appearance: according to used screen 1,2,3 mm by hand screening

milling if the costumer requires it – the screen in the mill 1,2,3 mm or powder

Stocking conditions and shelf life:

Stock in clean and dry stocks without direct sunshine with blue dull light.

Without pests and foreign smell.

Temperature: max 25°C

Relative humidity: max 70%

Shelf life: 36 months from the date of production. The producer doesn’t warrant for additional attack of pests.

Recommended conditions during transport:

Transport in clean, dry, covered vehicle, without smells and stock pests. The transporter warrants for keeping these conditions.

Irradiation:

See law No. 133/2004 – only after the agreement with the costumer
