TENDER
Sealed tenders are invited afresh from the local reputed firms/suppliers for supply of stationery/miscellaneous general items and toners on one year contract basis for the period 1st July 2009 to 30th June 2010. The rates alongwith samples, where possible, may be quoted in order of the items in the list, which can be obtained from the undersigned on any working day on payment of non-refundable amount of Rs.500/- per copy.
2.The firms/suppliers should be well established with complete business address, telephone numbers, registered under sales tax ordinance (legible and valid copy of sales tax may be attached with the bid) and at least five years experience with government offices at Islamabad, without any adverse background.
3.Bank draft/Pay Order of Rs.50,000/- in favour of DDO, Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) Prime Minister’s Secretariat (Public), Islamabad should be attached with the tender having one year validity. The bank draft/pay order of unsuccessful bidders will be returned to the bidders whereas the same in respect of successful bidder will be retained in the Authority as security money till the date of maturity of contracts.
4.On acceptance of the tender, the supplier will provide “Sample” of approved items and will be liable to supply the items of the approved quality in the list of the quoted rates during the contract period as and when required failing which security deposit will be forfeited besides other legal action.
5.The firms/suppliers will be responsible to supply the items at the office premises. If supplied items are found defective or sub-standard, or not in accordance with the samples tenders, the supplier will be required to replace them at his own cost etc.
6.Award of contract would be based strictly on the quality of items and not only on the basis lowest rates and there would be no compromise on quality of items so purchased.
7.Original Toners/Cartridges for Photostat Machines, Faxes and Computer Printers will be accepted and not refilled.
8.The competent authority reserves the right to accept (in full or part) or reject the tender without assigning any reason.
9.Tender should reach the Deputy Director (GA) Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) Prime Minister’s Secretariat (Public), P.O. Box No.2688, Murree Road, Islamabad by 11.00 a.m. on 20-06-2009, which would be opened on the same day at 2.00 p.m. in the presence of all parties or their agents by the Tender Evaluating Committee.

2.It is also requested the copy of the notice may be forwarded to Deputy Director PPRA, for placing the Tender on PPRA Website.
3.Two copies of newspapers in which the enclosed material will be published may please be supplied to this Secretariat for information/record.
