DATE

Local Children Dress Up and Dance for Macmillan Cancer Support

On day + date, dance fever hit school or group name in village or town name as both children and adults got dressed up and put on their dancing shoes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year’s special theme was ‘Legends’ and we saw everything from pop icons and super heroes to sports personalities and film stars!

This toe-tapping, costume-wearing celebration was organised as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Dress Up and Dance fundraiser and pupils were asked to come into school wearing their favourite legends-themed dance outfits, in return for making a donation to Macmillan. All the money raised will help children and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Name, head teacher of name of school, said: “We had a brilliant time taking part in Macmillan’s Dress up and Dance fundraising event - as the photos show - and we are delighted to have raised a fantastic £amountfor this important cause! The pupils were really excited to getdressed up as their favourite legends and we had great fun learning some new dance moves in the name of charity.”
