The Holiday World tourism fair is the largest event of its kind not only in the CzechRepublic, but also in Central Europe. The event is once again organized byIncheba Praha. The 2014 event will be the 23rd edition and will take place February 20 - 23, traditionally at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague - Holešovice.

You will have the opportunity to travel through nearly the whole world in one single place. The trio of fairs will feature over 800 exhibitors from 50 countries. The organizer Incheba Praha expects 35,000 visitors. This year’s event will once again include the popular WorldFilm travel film festivalas well as Expedition Camera. One purchased ticket to Holiday World also gives you admission to the Top Gastro & Hotel andGolf Showparallel fairs, as well as to the aforementioned exhibition of films from the production ofWorldFilm and Expedition Camera.

Competition for visitors

The organizers, in partnership with travel agencies, have once again prepared a unique competition for the visitors. Many of you may thus win a dream vacation right on the spot. WorldFilm

A festival full of adventure and experiences! The traditional WorldFilm travel film festival will take place during the weekend in Křižík’s Pavilion E as a part of the tourism fair. The film festival will once again be loaded this year with discussions with travelers, unique screenings and exhibitions. And what can you look forward to this year? How about predators in front of the lens, a persistent Indian tribe, the coldest inhabited places in the northern hemisphere, highlights from a film about the extraordinary life of Miroslav Zikmund and much more.

Expedition camera

The Expedition Camera film festivalwill bring cutting-edge documentaries about travelling and sports in nature.You will be able to see the filmHonnold 3.0about one of the most famous climbers, as well as a film about outdoor winter activities called Tatry bez limitov(Tatras without limits) and, for example, a story of a crazy combination of a unicycle and speleology calledCave unicycling.

Morocco is the fair’s partner country this year

The Kingdom of Morocco has become the partner country of the Holiday World fair for 2014. Morocco will present itself on an area of 150 m2with an interesting stand and an attractive program.The stand will clearly dominate the exclusive Central Hall of the IndustrialPalace and visitors will have the opportunity to experience not only musical, but also small culinary and calligraphy presentations by this North African country.Morocco will also use its presentation at Holiday World to introduce a new air route connecting both our countries.

Czech regions in full force

Visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to travel through our entire country via presentations by nearly all regions of the CzechRepublic,as well as to get useful tips for their next vacation, trips and possibilities for spending free time. Among the largest exhibitors are the South Bohemian Tourism Authority, the Usti Region and the Liberec Region. The exhibitors are preparing dance shows, tastings of local specialties, demonstrations of historical clothing styles, etc., at their stands. For example, a public press conference of the fairy tale regions of the CR will take place on the main stage right at outset of the fair on February 20 at 10:30 AM.

Foreign exhibitors

Holiday World will also be an exhibition and inspiration for journeys abroad to not only nearby countries, but to very distant countries as well. Besides our neighbors and nearby European countries, including the Mediterranean, visitors will be able to get information about exotic countries, such as Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Taiwan, Jamaica, Kenya, etc. South Africa will make its debut at the fair. The largest foreign exhibitors once again include Slovakia and Turkey. Saxony will definitely have a very attractive presentation, as it will promote rail travel via an interesting exhibit at its stand.

A joint presentation of spas under the auspices of the Czech Spa Association

An integrated block of “spa” exhibitors will make a presentationunder the auspices of the Czech Spa Association for the very first time at the Holiday World fair.It will offer the visitors a complete overview of spa services and possibilities of spa houses. The individual exhibitors will also take part in the Trips for a Million visitor competition and they will offer discount coupons for their services in 2014.

Stolen airship returns to the Exhibition Grounds!

TheHoliday Worldfair will once again feature a presentation by the Karel Zeman Museum. This year, the main theme is the film Ukradená vzducholoď (Stolen Airship), as it is at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague - Holešovice that the young adventurers’ journey begins in the famous movie. A professional photographer will be present at the stand, and he will create for the visitors photographs that use optical illusion based on the principles known from Zeman’s movies.A unique trick with the stolen airship is being prepared especially for the Holiday Worldfair, and it will have its premiere here! Visitors to the fair will thus be able to float in the air just like the little adventurers. All visitors will have the opportunity to take their photo printed on photo paper home for an overhead fee, or they will be able to download it for free at .
