The AUTHOR:
My name is Rick Zullo, and I’m an American writer in Rome. Like so many dreamy-eyed foreigners that come to Italy, it was love at first sight and I simply refused to go back. Now I’m married to an Italian woman, and we have an infant daughter. One of the things that I love most about Italy is that you can always go deeper; there are endless layers of culture and history to discover.
The SITE:
My blog started out as a resource to help fellow Americans fight their way through the jungle of Italians bureaucracy, and to provide some insights for adapting to life in Rome. Over the past two years, however, the focus has gradually shifted towards travelling to explore this culturally rich country, and documenting my journeys for others to enjoy.
