URBAN EXPOSITIONS PARTNERS WITH WESTERN REGION MUSEUM STORE ASSOCIATION CHAPTER TO HOST NETWORKING RECEPTION DURING FEBRUARY 2015 SFIGF

Reception Joins Other Programs, Services SFIGF Offers to Museum Store Retailers

KENNESAW, GA (January 19, 2015) – Urban Expositions has partnered with the Western Region Chapter of the Museum Store Association (MSA) to host a networking reception during the upcoming February 21-24, 2015 San Francisco International Gift Fair (SFIGF). Scheduled for Monday, February 23 from 5-7 pm at Jamber Wine Pub (858 Folsom Street), the reception invites current and prospective MSA members and vendors to enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres and networking with industry peers.

“From our Museum division to the many other versatile, quality designs throughout the show floor, SFIGF has always been a destination product resource for museum stores,” explains Jhana Jordan, SFIGF Buyer Relations Director. “We are very proud of our long-term relationship with MSA and always seeking ways to enhance our product offerings with other beneficial services and professional growth opportunities for its members and the organization itself. “

In addition to the MSA Western Chapter Networking Reception, the SFIGF offers a number of other programs and services to help museum stores maximize their time and minimize their travel costs to the show. Among them:

Travel Rebates – Museum stores can choose one from a number of show travel saving offers, including rebates on hotel stay, parking and car fuel.

MSA Info Area – MSA will have a dedicated desk at the show where potential members can pick up literature and other information to learn more about the many benefits the association offers.

Museum Division – Bringing together hundreds of design-led, upscale designs, the SFIGF show floor is conveniently categorized into 10 product divisions on the show floor for optimum buying convenience. The Museum Division, in particular, includes resources across multiple categories: books, calendars, folk art, historical products, posters, jewelry, art pieces, Judaica, educational merchandise and more.
