Howdy everyone!! I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!! I also hope that everyone has a Happy New Year this coming week!! The Christmas Party at Kris Hornberger’s house December 7, 2014 was yet another success this year!! We had a lot of food, very little desserts (LOL!), gift exchange, and most importantly of all we enjoyed each other’s company. The winner of the Best Pajamas was none other than the Miss Jenna Chapman!! We also elected our officers for 2015 and they are as follows:

Clarification: There has been a mistake in the 2015 GBRA By-Laws. The membership has NOT been increased to $40.00!! The membership dues are still the same as they were is 2014. The membership is $30.00 and $20.00 for Pee Wees.
Reminders:
The 2015 GBRA Annual Show is SUPER early this year, May 9-10!! So everyone knows what that means….SPONSORS…SPONSORS…SPONSORS!!! BE GETTING YOUR SPONSORS NOW!! SPONSOR MONEY IS DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 8TH!! I know what you all are thinking… “Well if the sponsor money is due April 8th then what about the Hoosier Horse Fair, which is April 10-12 counting as credit towards our jackets, entry tickets, ect.?” Don’t worry for any member that works the Hoosier Horse Fair that member will still receive credit even though it is past the deadline.
If you think that you as a member qualify for Rookie of the Year which includes the following:
- First year member
- Attitude
- Must have participated in 50% of all GBRA sanctioned shows
- Earned at least 10 points
- Active GBRA member (Examples: Participated in helping at the Hoosier Horse Fair, helped out at our 2014 Annual GBRA show, helped out at any show during the GBRA classes, got sponsors for the GBRA. Just to name a few examples of being an active member.)

Please be looking for your 2015 GBRA BANQUET RESERVATION in the mail or on the GBRA website under forms! This form must be filled out and turned back in no later than February 2, 2015!!The Banquet is February 21, 2015 at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino 4300 N. Michigan Rd. Shelbyville, IN!! Come ready to party, eat, and have a good time with family and friends! Next meeting is January 11, 2015 12:00 pm at Kris Hornberger’s house 10130 N. 300 W. Knightstown, IN 46148.
