For over 80 years, the Metropolitan Planning Council has brought government, community and business leaders together to develop workable solutions to our region’s toughest planning and development challenges.

The Annual Luncheon is MPC’s signature event, attracting 1,000 business, civic, public and community leaders who attend to hear influential speakers and to honor a leader from Chicago's civic community.

Please join us for MPC’s 2015 Annual Luncheon, which will feature a conversation with J.B. Pritzker on how venture capitalists, philanthropists and the public sector can collaborate to support the continued evolution of the tech sector and collectively advance our region’s communities and economy, and why he’s invested in Chicago’s future.
During the luncheon, MPC will also recognize one of Chicago’s leading corporate citizens, Miles D. White, chairman and CEO of Abbott, with the 2015 “Champion Fighter Award.” This honor is bestowed to those who have made extraordinary civic contributions to Chicago communities, which is embodied by the actions of both Mr. White and Abbott.
