Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m.
Agenda –Motion by Goutermont, second Hoff to approve the agenda as presented. MOTION CARRIED.
Consent Agenda – Motion by Perfetto, second DeRosier to approve the minutes of the December 18, 2017regular Council meeting, the December 27, 2017 Budget Workshop and Special Meeting, and the September 2017 Treasurer’s Report. MOTION CARRIED.
Petitions, Requests and Communications
MN Dept of Health Award – The Council acknowledged the work of the Water Department staff in receiving the 2016 Water Fluoridation Quality Award, for having optimal fluoride levels for 12 months in a row.

2018-01 designating Bayside Printing and Northshore Journal as the Legal Newspaper.

Resolution 2018-04 – The Council reviewed the appointment of the Council members to the City Boards and Commissions. Motion by DeRosier, second Perfetto to adopt Resolution 2018-04, Board/Commission/Committee Assignments.

Resolution 2018-05 – The Council reviewed the City fee schedule. Motion by Perfetto, second DeRosier to adopt Resolution 2018-05, establishing City Fees.

Resolution 2018-06 – Motion by DeRosier, second Hoff to adopt Resolution 2018-06 establishing meal and mileage reimbursements.

RESOLUTION 2018-06 WAS ADOPTED. 5 aye, 0 nay
Fire Administrator Contract Renewal – It was noted that there were no changes from the previous year’s contract. Motion by Perfetto, second Goutermont to approve the 2018 contract with Mike Rowlee, Jr. for Fire Administrator, retroactive to January 1, 2018.

Police Training – The Police Chief recommends sending Officers McGrath and Dietz to this training. Motion by Goutermont, second Hoff to approve for Police Officers McGrath and Dietz to attend the BCA Interview and Investigation Training in St. Paul on February 13-14, for $500, plus hotel stay of $162.94 per night, and regular mileage and meals. MOTION CARRIED.
OLD BUSINESS – No old business was presented.
NEW BUSINESS – No new business was presented.
Claims – Motion by Perfetto, second DeRosier to approve payment of $130,346.00 paid claims and $23,851.59 in unpaid claims. MOTION CARRIED.
