Minutes of a Meeting of Buckingham Park Parish Council held on 5th January, 2016 at the Buckingham Park Community Centre, Jubilee Square, Buckingham Park

  1. Apologies for Absence

RESOLVED: To receive and accept apologies for absence from Cllrs Looker (illness), Jones (prior commitment).

  1. Declarations of Interest

To receive any pecuniary or non-pecuniary declarations of interest

To receive and agree any Dispensations

  • Cllr Christensen declared an interest in planning application 15/04096/APP.
  1. Minutes of the previous meeting held on 1/12/15

RESOLVED:To accept and sign the minutes of 1/12/15 as a true record.

  1. Clerk’s Report

To receive a report/update from the Clerk on matters not on the agenda

The clerk had nothing specific to report.

RESOLVED: Chairman to suspend Standing Orders (adjourn meeting) to enable questions from the public and any reportsfrom councillors.

Haretwell

  1. Questions from the Public & Reports. To receive any reports from Parish, County and District Councillors.
  • General discussion took place on some matters of concern to individual councillors.

RESOLVED: Chairman to reconvene meeting under Standing Orders.

  1. Main Park Cameras

Council to receive an update from Cllr Christensen regarding a meeting with AVDC officers forpermission to install the security system agreed by the parish council.

AVDC and the Developers have no problems with the new security camera proposal which will also cover the main park.

RESOLVED: To proceed with the installation of the new camera system for the community centre and main park.

  1. Developer Updates

To receive any updates from the Developers regarding adoption or maintenance

Cllr Christensen reported that here was a new officer contact for Taylor Wimpey and further discussion will take place on the adoption process and maintenance works required.

  1. Finances and Orders for Payment

RESOLVED: To agree and authorise the following orders and retrospective orders forpayment:

  • BP Community CentreTransfer of Funds£20,000
  • Fresh Design & PrintPrinting£989.21

RESOLVED: To receive and agree the Councils Financial statements, income / expenditure report presented by the Finance Officer and the Clerk.

  1. 2016 Precept and & Budget

To discuss and agree the 2016 Precept/Budget

RESOLVED: To agree the Budget for 2016 as presented to Council.

RESOLVED: To agree the accounts for the Buckingham Park Community Centre as presented by the Clerk/RFO and the Finance Officer.

RESOLVED: That a precept of £95,375 be requested from Aylesbury Vale District Council.

The Clerk to progress this matter as required.

There being no further business of the Council, the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.25pm
