Autumn discoveries continue for preschoolers at the library. Join in the fall fun as we enjoy stories, music, and simple crafts, while enhancing pre-reading skills and building important social skills. Limit 12.

Rubber Ducky Time

Birth-23 months with caregiver

Wednesdays from 10-10:30 am

Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses as we introduce your little one to the sounds and rhythms of language and reading with stories, music, and rhymes. Limit 12.

Alphabet Stew

2-4 years with caregiver

Wednesdays from 11:30-noon(No program November 30)

Each week we focus on a different letter of the alphabet with stories, activities, and crafts.

Toddler Art

2-5 years old with caregiver

Mondays from 10-10:30 am

Toddlers will explore activities that engage the senses and help them understand the world around them. Limit 12. (Same program as Wednesday evenings)

Family Music

Best for under 5 with caregiver

Fridays from 10-10:30 am(No program December 2)

Songs, games, and musical adventures for caregivers and little ones. Limit 24.

Spanish Bilingual Storytime

Best for ages 5 and under with caregiver

Saturdays from 11-11:30 am(November 19 & December 3 only)

Come for a story, songs, and a craft. All are welcome!

Afterschool Programs

Crafternoons Independent K-2nd graders

Mondays from 4-4:30 pm

Don’t waste away your afternoons, come to the library instead and spend time crafting and creating with friends. Each week we’ll listen to stories and work on a new creation. Limit 12.

Young Einsteins Independent K-2nd graders

Tuesdays from 4-4:30 pm

Turn milk into the frozen yummies of ice cream! Make scented play dough…all this and more during our weekly exploration into science. Limit 16.

The Mad Scientists Club: Spy Edition Independent 3rd-5th graders

Wednesdays from 4-4:30 pm

Engage in activities and experiments which explore the world of spies! Limit 12.

Painting with Pals Independent K-2nd graders

Thursdays from 3:45-4:30 pm(No program November 24 & December1)

Join your friends and become a budding artist as you follow step by step instructions to create your masterpiece! Make sure to wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Limit 12.

Afterschool Cooking Club Independent K-5th graders

Fridays, November 11 and December 9 from 4-4:30 pm

Join us for a fun and easy cooking experience, no stove or oven needed! Bring an apron if you have one. (Not recommended for children with food allergies of any kind). Limit 12.

Cook with Your Kid! Grades K and up with adult

Friday, November 18 from 4-4:30 pm

We’ll enjoy tasty stories and learn easy cooking skills while preparing a simple, healthy snack.

Evening Programs

Kids Paint Night Independent 3rd grade and up

Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm (No program November 29)

Bring your artistic skills each week as we create a masterpiece on canvas. We are here to enjoy ourselves and every art piece is uniquely yours. Please wear old clothes in case you get paint on yourself. Limit 12.

Toddler Art 2-5 years old with caregiver

Toddlers will explore activities that engage the senses and help them understand the world around them.

Jammie Jamboree Ages birth-5 years old with caregiver

Soothing stories & activities perfect for before bedtime. Kids are welcome to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite bedtime pal. No limit.

Saturday Programs

Checkmate Grades 1 and up

Saturdays from 10-11 am

Learn new moves and test your skills! Chess teaches concentration, focus, logic, and outcome, while promoting the STEM initiative. For beginners as well as those with some experience. Limit 20.

Minecraft Meet-up Grades 1 and up

Saturdaysfrom 2:30-3:30 pm(No program November 19 and December 10)

Do you love Minecraft? Want to meet others who love it just as much as you? Join us at this club where we use the Minecraft server to create a safe and controlled environment for Minecraft enthusiasts. Limit 11.

Family Movie All ages

Tuesday, November 15 at 6:30 pm

Grab the family and join us for “Ice Age Collision Course” while enjoying popcorn.

A Visit with Mrs. Claus All ages

Sunday, November 27 from 2-4 pm

Drop in anytime between 2 & 4, as we kick-off the holiday season with a visit with Mrs. Claus before she has to travel back to the North Pole and prepare for Christmas! Indulge in hot cocoa and yummy treats. Write a letter to Santa and make a special hand-made ornament before you leave.

Fresh Start Kids Film Fest December 27-30th

During the holiday break, we will show a different children’s classic in the afternoon at 2 pm and in the evening at 6 pm. Check back in December for specific titles.

Maker Week Mystery Craft December 27-30th

Stop by anytime we are open and create a mystery maker craft. All ages, while supplies last.

TAG (Teen Advisory Group)

Thursdays from 7-8 pm (November 3 and December 1)

Do you want to show off your leadership skills? Or are you simply looking for a way to be more involved with other teens at the library? There’s always something new and exciting being planned and you can be a part of that. Join us and share your opinions about what you’d like to see and do at the library.

Christmas Gift Wrapping Ages 7 and up

Thursday, December 8 from 6-8 pm (Drop in anytime between 6-8pm)

Do you have a gift or two that you’d like to wrap to surprise Mom or Dad? Would you like to make a Christmas card for that special someone? Bring your gifts and festive spirit and join us in the gift wrap extravaganza! We’ll supply gift wrap, ribbons, tape, and tags-the wrapping is up to you!

Star Wars Night @ the Library! All ages

Thursday, January 19 from 6-8 pm

Drop in anytime between 6 and 8 pm and check out our new BB8 android! Make your own mini light saber while enjoying Yoda soda and other “out of this world” delights. Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and “May the Force be with you!”

Programs begin the week starting November 6 and end December 10.

Programs are drop in, unless otherwise stated.

Residents may check-in with their library card 30 minutes prior to the program, and non-residents may check-in 15 minutes prior to the program.

By registering for our programs, you are giving consent for your child’s photos to be used on our website, social media sites, and/or within the library.
