Preschool News
November 2016
Our theme for the month of November is health and nutrition. We will have a grocery store set up in our pretend area and will also be talking about making healthy food choices. We will work on math and literacy skills as the children make shopping lists, shop for items and pay for them with pretend money. We will also talk about Thanksgiving traditions and what we are each thankful for.
Our class really enjoys dancing and exercising with Take a look at Usher ABC, Puppy Dance, Racing Heart, and Rollercoaster which are some of our favorites. Also check out another program we enjoy that has great early childhood learning activities.
The book buddy for November is a student made book, I Am Thankful. Songs this month will be “We’ve Been Shopping” and “Mr. Turkey”. We will enjoy some special snacks to go along with our weekly letter. Scrambled E Eggs and F French toast.
