Quilt w/2 borders = 58” x 80”

Five Blocks: 20” Set “on point”

Fabrics needed

Your choices (My choices)

5 fabrics for squares ½ yd of 5 different prints ______(black & white)

Background 2 yds of very light or very dark ______(white print)

Stars Total 1 yd. of Bright contrast ______(bright red print)

Dark corners (opt) ½ yd of dark contrast ______(dark red print)

1st border ½ yd dark ______(solid black)

Wandering Geese border Total 1 yd background + ½ yd geese ______(red + blk/white)

Backing 3 5/8 yds Binding 7 strips @ 2 ½” = ½ yd

The following MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE the workshop.

1.  Cut 5 strips (2 ½” wide) from selvage to selvage from each of the 5 prints.

2.  Use a scant ¼” seam to sew 5 strip sets of 5 strips each. (Each strip set should be 10 ½” wide after pressing.) You may sew them in identical order (calmer) or differing order. You may mix the textures or gradate them.

3.  Cut two 2½” strips of geese background fabric and one 2½” strip of geese fabric.
