Pre-PETS - Topics & Goals

A Guide for Presidents’ Elect

District website / DaCdb

Prior to Pre-PETS, PEs will:

1. Access the District website: .

2.Go to the District website tabs, click on Help tab, and view the following:Video: “DaCdb Quick Start Guide”

3. Login to Member Access (upper right corner of home page; click on Member Access and followinstructions).

4.Click on “My Club” tab in the DaCdb and review club information.

Goals:PEs will be able to access the District website and login via Member Access to DaCdb.

PEs will have a basic knowledge of the information available on the District website and in the DaCdb.

My Rotary / Rotary Club Central (RCC)

Prior to Pre-PETS, PEs will:

1.Go to the District website, click on Help tab, scroll down, and read the following:

PDF document: “How to create a My Rotary account”

2.Go to the District website, place cursor on Rotary International tab, and click on My Rotary.

3.Access My Rotary and “Register for an Account.”

4.Scroll down My Rotary to Online Tools and click on Rotary Club Central. In Club View, view the information under

tabs for Your Club, Service, and Foundation Giving.

Goal:PEs will be able to access My Rotary, login, and access Club View information in Rotary Club Central (RCC).

Setting goals (RCC): Membership, Service, Foundation, & PolioPlus

Goal:PEs will understand goals to be set & how to enter them in RCC.

Club Team Training (CTT)

Goal:PEs will understand what CTT is, how it is different from former District Training Assembly (DTA), who should

attend, & how to best utilize itfor building their Club Leadership Team.

Gold Club Achievement Award

Goals:PEs will understand mandatory vs. elective criteria & be aware of deadlines.

PEs will know where to find Gold Club information and documents on the District website and how to chart Club progress.

Presidential / Club timelines & due dates

Goal:PEs will be aware of important deadlines & events.

District Grants

Goals:PEs will know where to find grant information & begin exploring grant ideas.

PEs who want to apply for a grant will have a draft proposal by PETS.

District Legislative Assembly (DLA)

Goal:PEs will understand what DLA is and how to prepare.

Club Presidents Manual

Goal:PEs will understand the importance of reviewing manual prior to PETS.

Be A Vibrant Club: Your Club Leadership Plan

Goal:PEs will review this document prior to PETS and be prepared to participate in the Discussion Group --“Developing Your Club Leadership Plan,” as well as their Breakout Session with the AG.

Manual of Procedure (MOP)

Goal:PEs will have basic knowledge of the MOP & know how to access/download it.

E-Learning Modules

Goal:PEs will use these modules for self-study and review as needed. Go to District website -- Resources -- District
