Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Instructions

Before applying, please confirm that you are eligible for an award, and consult with the office of your dean for permission to apply.

·  Deadines:

•  Application Part 1 is due November 28, 2017.

•  Application Part 2 is due January 9, 2018. A link to Application Part 2 will be emailed to you when you submit Application Part 1.

·  Transcripts:

•  Both parts of the application must be submitted electronically. Printable versions of Application Part 1 and Application Part 2 are available for review only. Paper or handwritten applications will not be accepted.

•  The Fellowship Application Certification must be signed by both the Applicant and the Dean of the School of Pharmacy and uploaded to Part 2.

•  An official original transcript reporting a minimum of three semesters of graduate study toward the Ph.D. should be mailed to:

If electronic versions of the official transcript are available, it may be emailed to Sarah Devereaux-Hardimon at instead of sending by mail.

•  PDFs of unofficial transcripts from study preceding the Ph.D. program must be uploaded to Application Part 2.

·  Residency

•  If born outside of the U.S., a PDF of the naturalization or permanent residency document must be uploaded in the appropriate section. If such documentation is not available, a letter from the Dean of Pharmacy confirming such information is required.

·  Recommendations

•  Three recommendations must be submitted via the online recommendation form. One statement of recommendation must be from major advisor/dissertation advisor/principal investigator/head of graduate program.

·  The applicant is solely responsible for ensuring that all required materials, including recommendations and transcripts, are received by AFPE no later than January 9, 2018.

·  All information other than the official original transcript must be submitted via the online forms.

·  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

If your application is complete, you will receive notice that AFPE has your application in full. If you think that your application is complete, but do not receive an email that AFPE has received it in full, you are strongly encouraged to check your application for errors.
