Eliciting Questions
Write probing/eliciting questions for each component that you will ask students to promote comprehension and higher order thinking skills. Include action words from the revised Bloom’s Taxonomy. /

Instructional Strategies

Write the lesson plan as you would give it, providing yourself with a tool that summarizes flow and transitions, records age-appropriate wording for all instructions and prompts, and describes what you expect students to be doing and/or talking about at key points. Identify which component of the 5e model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate) is being used at each point of the lesson. Be very explicit (include solutions) about mathematical/scientific examples that will be written on the board or otherwise provided to students.
