J EMERGENCY PHONE PRAYER CHAIN This Prayer Chain is due for revision and the sign up list is available! Please don’t forget to sign up to be a part of the Emergency Phone Prayer Chain. So far, there are only about 10 people signed up. It would be a sad day if we can’t have enough people interested so that the Emergency Prayer Chain dies out, don’t you think? We still have last’s year’s people but we must not rely on that for the coming year. The sign-up sheet is coming down next week. We’ll work with what we have. This is IMPORTANT!!!!
Don’t hesitate to call anytime of the day to request prayer if you have an emergency. Call June Noggle at: 830-626-2177 or email: with your request to get it started on the chain. You can also call the Church Office during office hours.
JPRAYERGRAMS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE ON THE DESK IN THE PRAYER ROOM! Have you forgotten them? These are self-explanatory and are easy to be used to let people know you are praying for them!
JTHE MEMBERSHIP CARE TEAM meets every 2nd Friday of each month at 9:00 am unless otherwise advised. Our Team members are: June Noggle, Connie Marrs, Ann Robison, Sandra Phillips, and Jeanne Squailia and Mary Burkes. We welcome anyone who would like to come and help write these cards and we can always use more help. All materials are provided!! Please give it some prayerful thought about stepping out for this ministry. 27 encouragement cards were sent out on April 10.
Birthday/Anniversary cards for May were written when the Membership Care Team met on April 10. Birthday/Anniversary cards are done a month in advance. They are then mailed on appropriate days by our Church Secretary, Diane.
JWEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER TEAM We have been averaging 8-10 prayer members each week . We welcome anyone who would like to join the “Tower of Prayer” for CVBC! There is room for you!!
We have been receiving the pew prayer cards and they are included in our prayer time. Please take note that the Prayer Request box has been restored outside the Prayer Room door. It is there for everyone’s convenience to drop your prayer requests in at any time. It is not just for visitors!! The box is checked often.
Prayer requests brought to the Prayer Team are confidential and are not broadcast about the church, unless permission is granted. Anyone can come to share their burdens or make requests and trust that it will not leave the room (Team). No one is ever asked to pray aloud. Some choose to come and just be a part of the Team, but pray in their heart
JNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER REPORT!! This year 32 people were in attendance for the”Call to Prayer” service in the Fellowship Hall on May 7. I consider that a good show! GOD will honor your faithfulness!!
