PEP 22 will be held at the Tarrytown House Estate & Conference Center, which is easily accessiblefrom New York City.Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements.

From Midtown New York City:

  • By car: About 45 minutes by car without traffic. Taxi service costs about $85 USD, not including tolls or tip.
  • From New York City (East Side):
  • Take the FDR Drive North, across the Willis Avenue Bridge onto the Major Deegan Expressway North (I-87)
  • Continue on Major Deegan I-87 North for 21 miles (through Bronx, past Yankee Stadium into Westchester County)
  • Note: Once you cross into Westchester County I-87 North is Renamed "New York State Thruway North"
  • Continue on NY State Thruway North towards the Tappan Zee Bridge. As you near the Tappan Zee Bridge, I-87 North merges with I-287 West, take "Exit 9 Tarrytown/Route 9". (Exit 9 is the last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge). Please note, since the highways merge, exit 9 is immediately after Exit 1.
  • Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Route 119 West. Go to the first traffic light (Route 9) and turn left
  • Proceed to third traffic light; turn left onto East Sunnyside Lane (about 1 mile)
  • Entrance to Tarrytown House is clearly marked on your left (2nd driveway on left)
  • ***Do not get off at Exit 9 in the Bronx. Continue north approximately 20 miles until you see "Exit 9 Tarrytown Route 9 Last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge"***
  • By train: From Grand Central Station, take theMetro-North train (tickets about $15) on the Hudson Line bound forCroton-Harmonand get off at the Tarrytownstop. From the train station, take a taxi to the Tarrytown House for about $10. This entire trip will cost about $25 USD and take about 75 minutes.The latest suggested train departures are 12:20pm and 12:43pm.

From JFK International Airport:

  • By car: About one hour by car. Taxi service costs about $155 USD, not including tolls or tip.
  • By train: At the airport, take a taxi to Grand Central Station for about $60. From Grand Central Station, take the Metro-North train on the Hudson Line bound forCroton-Harmon and get off at the Tarrytown stop. From the train station, take a taxi to the Tarrytown House. This entire trip will cost about $85USD.

From Newark International Airport:

  • By car: About one hour by car. Taxi service costs about $155 USD, not including tolls or tip.
  • By train: At the airport, take a taxi to Grand Central Station for about $60. From Grand Central Station, take the Metro-North train on the Hudson Line bound forCroton-Harmon and get off at the Tarrytown stop. From the train station, take a taxi to the Tarrytown House. This entire trip will cost about $85 USD.
