POTENTIAL NUMBER OF DWELLINGS

·  The potential number of dwellings that might be built on any one site depends on a number of factors.

·  Sites are being considered across the Parish; in Calstock, St Ann’s Chapel, Albaston, Harrowbarrow and Metherell. It is likely that sites that are eventually developed will not be concentrated in one single village but will be distributed across the Parish. Until the entire consultation is concluded, it is not possible to provide firm numbers. But the working assumption is that only 2 or 3 of the potential sites in the Parish might be developed.

·  Potential numbers will also be determined by:

o  Housing need

o  Site layout

o  Density of neighbouring properties and the environment

o  Views of the local community

o  Capacity of local infrastructure (sewerage, schools, etc)

o  Access to local facilities
