Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
As you know, the procedure of academic units’ external evaluation was very late due to institutional and financial obstacles. Following the recent removal of those obstacles (adoption of amendments to Law 3374/2005 by Law 3794/4-9-2009), ADIP is pleased to inform you that it has rapidlystarted planning of all external evaluations, in accordance with the date when the internal evaluation reports have deposited.
Certainly, in the meantime,ADIP had the opportunity to control, as to their completeness, the internal evaluation reports which have been sent. From this control, it raised the general remarks contained in the attached document Clarifications for the internal evaluation report. This document tries to help the external evaluation panels to better assess the work of the evaluated academic unit. In the next period,ADIPwillinform youabout the results of the Study of internal evaluation reports of the academic units of your institution which you have already submitted.
Given the responsible role of MODIP, as coordinator of quality assurance and evaluation procedures within the institution, please take into account the fact that the completeness of the internal evaluation reports of academic units as well as the completeresponseto the basicrequirementsprocess, as definedby the Law and the instructions and forms of ADIP, should be checked by the relevant MODIP, before sending the Report to ADIP.For your convenience, please find enclosed clarifications on the submission of internal evaluation report to ADIP.
Finally, please inform the OMEAsof your institution, in the light of the external evaluation of the academic units, and before the definition of the evaluation date, that it is possible to send revisions, additions or improvements to the internal evaluation report already sent, so as to reflect the latest data of each academic unit.
