Post Title: Project Accountant (Fixed Term, 6 Months)

The Job: To assist in the successful implementation of a new payroll software. The role will support the phasing of functionality through partnering with OD and liaising with service managers to streamline and integrate processes with the new system, ensuring they are efficient and meet the needs of the business.

Analysis and cleansing of payroll data / 15%
Agreeing and setting payroll parameters in the new payroll system / 10%
Liaising with OD department and service managers in streamlining the new process / 25%
Assist in the parallel run of new payroll system and reconcile any differences / 35%
Training direct and associated users in the use of the new payroll system / 15%

To be Consideredfor this Job I Absolutely Must Have/Be:

Suitable academic and professional qualifications (preferably CIPP qualified/part qualified) / Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
Experience of working within payroll function / Be a clear, effective communicator who can alter their style dependant on their audience
Experience of delivering change projects / High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent IT skills (e.g.Excel)

Hours & Working Conditions:-

Your Terms / 37 hours/ 25 days AL
Grade/Pay / Salary circa £23,000(dependant on experience)
Working Environment / Office based/Occasional unsociable hours & travel
Equipment issued / N/A
Responsible for / N/A
