TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
1.This is a Tennis NSW and Tennis Seniors NSW Sanctioned Tournament. For insurance reasons, all players must be registered members of their State Tennis Association and be members of a State Tennis Seniors’ Association. Failure to comply with this requirement may preclude you from competing in the tournament. Membership with Tennis Seniors NSW is FREE for the firstyear.
2.The Tournament Management Committee, hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”, shall have the entire control and management of the Tournament. Any matter not specifically covered by these conditions shall be resolved by the Committee, whose decision shall befinal.
3.All players are required to be financial members of Tennis NSW and must provide their Tennis NSW MYTENNIS Players ID on demand. Players must also be registered with Tennis Seniors NSW or another Seniors’ statebody.
4.Players may enter one event ONLY from each session. A player entering in a Doubles Event without naming a partner shall accept the partner allocated by the Committee. However, this does not impose any obligation on the Committee to find apartner.
5.ENTRY FEES are $15.00 per player. Entries close 21 July 2017, with the Tournament Secretary. Cheques to be made payable to Port Macquarie TennisClub.
6.All players must submit a separate entry form accompanied by fees. No refunds will be given after the draw has been made.
7.Four or more entries must be received in an Event to guarantee the running of that event otherwise age groups may becombined.
8.If sufficient nominations are received, A and B grade divisions will beconducted.
9.Commencement times: Saturday morning 8.00am, Saturday afternoon 12.30pm, Sunday morning 8.30am and Sunday afternoon1pm.
10.Play must commence on time. One 3 minute warm-up allowed per player persession.
11.Winners Formula: MOST SETS WON, if equal – most games won, if equal – winner of match when players/pairs played each other. For the purposes of this tournament a set is deemed to be the number of games set down to be played, by the Tournament Director, in eachmatch.
12.It is the player’s responsibility to ascertain his/her draw and playing venue and be in attendance at the courts fifteen minutes before their scheduled time of play. Courts at other venues may beused.
13.In entering this Tournament, a player automatically grants Tennis NSW and Tennis Seniors NSW the right in perpetuity to make, use and show pictures of him/her, motion or still, taken during the competition withoutcompensation.
