Summary
The innovation team are delivering a programme of work designed to deliver the right support to the right parents and young people with vision impairment at the right time. Whether you are a parent who has just found out that your baby is blind, or a 17 year old that has lost your sight, RSBC has defined the advice content that you might need to help them navigate your sight loss journey.
This role will be responsible for delivering excellent content in multiple digital channels in partnership with our marketing and CRM teams while also contributing to the development and project management of innovative solutions to achieve our ambition.
About the role
As part of the Innovation team you will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our target to reach 11,000 families by 2020. You will have the exciting opportunity to:
- Shape the content we deliver and how we deliver it
- Ensure we have the right quantitative and qualitative feedback mechanisms in place so we measure our performance and optimise accordingly
- Work across all innovation team initiatives to ensure we use our customer data and CRM platform in the right way so we can scale and rollout efficiently
Key tasks and main duties
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of multi-channel digital content designed to help families and young people with vision impairment.
- Collaborate with external agencies, department heads to deliver a large programme of content, identifying innovative and accessible formats.
- Work closely with the content production manager in the marketing team to ensure effective cross pollination and no duplication.
- Identify touchpoints that can inform the optimisation of our Personae so we can deliver a more personalised experience.
- Contribute to the development of innovation and digital solutions for our services
- Contribute to embedding innovation as a value within the organisation through learning hours and supporting internal initiatives
- Responsible for project management reporting within the Innovation Team
- Create new processes, train and optimise accordingly to ensure we can scale effectively.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders including leading workshops and research to solve problems.
- Agency and budget management.
- Produce relevant management information to manage the projects effectively and to report to the Director of Innovation as required.

Educational or Professional Qualifications
Level 3 qualification
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
Essential
Charity or public sector experience
Experience of managing large scale content matrices
Experience of sourcing and delivering content in digital channels
The ability to manage and implement change effectively, maintaining key stakeholder satisfaction within the process
Proven track record of key influencing, negotiating and decision-making skills to adapt and accommodate differing priorities
The ability to develop and implement processes to manage the successful development of new services
Experience in project management of new solutions or services
Someone who is curious, compassionate, passionate and ambitious would be a fantastic fit for our team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
Experience of Microsoft team and Office 365
Agile project management
