Position Title: Associate Director, Annual Giving Analytics and Logistics

The AssociateDirector of Annual Giving Analytics and Logistics supports the Annual Giving team in raising funds to support the current operations of the College. Primary responsibilities includedata identification, collection and management of analytical materials to support fundraising activity across all aspects of annual giving. This position will develop, implement and assess metrics for appeals and programs in order to define and refine strategy for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.The associatedirector will develop and oversee all logistical aspects of annual giving programs from student philanthropy to stewardship.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develops all reporting and assessment data requirements for every aspect of annual giving.
  2. Develops and communicates recommendations based on internal and third-party data to guide annual giving strategy.
  3. Identifies, coordinates and manages all logistical needs for major campaigns both on and off campus.
  4. Keeps accurate and timely accounting of budget as it relates to expenses and interdepartmental transfers.
  5. Identifies venues/speakers and assists with logistical preparation and planning for the leadership giving society (HMMS) events on campus and regionally.
  6. Serves as a key partner in the development, implementation and assessment of the annual day of giving (MULEMENTUM) and the athletics week of giving (Mule Madness).
  7. Assists in the support and management of a Class Fund Chair network as it relates to information, reporting, class goal setting and status updates.
  8. Supports all activity related to the milestone reunion years which includes, but is not limited to program development, establishing/reporting of reunion fundraising goals and society memberships (leadership and planned gifts).
  9. Attends and contributes to major College functions, including but not limited to Alumni Weekend, the Volunteer Summit, Staff Phonathons as well as regional alumni events.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. One to three years of experience in higher education annual giving.
  3. Strong analytical and assessment skills required.
  4. Demonstrated ability to meet goals and effectively handle multiple priorities.
  5. Ability to work in a self-directed fashion while serving as a member of a collaborative advancement team.
  6. Ability to understand and articulate the role of a small, private liberal arts college.
  7. Excellent skills in communication, analysis, organization, time management and planning.

Working Conditions

  1. Some night and weekend work required.
  2. Ability to navigate stairs.
