Job Summary

Position: Sales Associate for Private Events

The Hospitality Division of Carpionato Properties is seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead prospecting, make outside sales calls, obtain and manage key business accounts, conduct site tours, and network all local business events.Must stay on top of industry news, trends and competitors.

-Proven ability to develop new and retain past client relationships to help build a strong client base for Chapel Grille.

-Ensure each booking is carried out successfully from the first point of contact to the completion of the event using effective communication, coordination and monitoring skills.

-Evaluate the monthly budget through analysis and projection to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.

-Manage private and a la carte group patterns to ensure highest potential revenue while staying focused in a fast paced environment.

-Demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image that best represents and promotes the reputation of the Chapel Grille.

-Keep meticulous client files and reconcile each event for the accounting department upon completion.

-Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing onall marketing strategies, promotions, materials and tools that you will then implementto achieve brand growth goals and positively affect the growth of all revenue producing areas.

-Responsible for building the social network presence using online social networking sites, website updates and requests, e-blasts, as well as area presence by attending trade shows and participating in local and regional community outreach events, etc.

Qualifications:

-3-5 years of private event sales and marketing experience in high-end dining, service, food and beverage programs. College degree in the hospitality field is a plus.

-Proficiency with Caterease or a similar private event and booking software program

-Superior lead prospecting,sales and closing skills, with an extensive contact list

-Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy and dependability

Compensation:Base plus bonus, commiserate with experience
