Pool & Diving Rules

1. Patrons with communicable diseases or open wounds may not use the pool. *

2. Patrons will take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool and after use of the
toilet facilities. *

3. Food, beverages, gum and tobacco products are not allowed on pool deck. *

4. Glass containers are not permitted in the facility. *

5. Do not run or engage in rough play in the facility. *

6. Animals are not permitted in the pool area. *

7. Patrons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted in the facility
and will be asked to leave. *

8. Street shoes are not permitted on the pool deck.

9. This facility requires that you wear apparel designed for swimming only.

10. Children 10 years of age and younger must have an adult (18 years of age or
older) in the facility with them, children 6 years of age and younger must have an
adult with them at all times.

11.Children not yet toilet trained must wear a reusable or disposable swim
diapers while in the water. *

12. Diaper changing on the pool deck is prohibited. *

13. In order to be admitted on the pool deck, patrons are required to pay the
admission fee and be in swimwear and adhere to all facility rules.

14. Patrons refusing to obey pool rules will be asked to leave.

15. Lifeguards are to be treated with respect and have the ultimate authority while on
duty.

  1. Pool management is not responsible fro any loss or theft of personal items.
  2. Our facility does not permit the use of flotation devices as they give the users a false sense of security.

Diving Board Rules:

1. One person on the diving board at a time.

2. Persons using the board must clear the water as quickly as possible.

3. Persons on the board must wait for person in front of them to swim to the side of
the pool before going off the board.

4. Dive only from the front of the board.

5. Persons may only bounce once per use.

6. Dives must be forward facing only.

The staff reserves the right to make daily decisions that affect the safety of the patrons.

Maximum Pool Attendance - Capacity 237 people

Maximum Viewing Attendance - Seating Capacity 300 people

General Pool Rules:

The staff will enforce posted pool rules. If you are not sure of a rules and why it is in place please make sure you find clarification immediately so we can be as uniform and consistent in enforcing the rules. Employees are not the exception to the rules they are the example! You will find that rules can be interpreted in many different ways. Hopefully these general rules will assist you in enforcing the rules better.

1. Ask people to shower prior to using the pool if in doubt.

2. Water is the only beverage allowed on the pool deck.

3. Working dogs are permitted in the facility only of they are wearing their jacket
denoting them as a working dog.

4. We require patrons to use swim wear, therefore street clothing may not be worn in
the water. The only exceptions should be for people who ask to wear a T-shirt
over their suit for personal reasons. We require white shirts, which are clean.

5. Diapers not designed for swimming are not allowed, diapers are designed to
absorb water and will weigh small children down. They also can become so
absorbent that they begin to fall apart and will make a huge mess. From fitting

training pants or disposable and reusable swim diapers are required.

6. Please adhere to age requirements for liability sake.

7. A swim test should be administered to all children wishing to use the deep end or
diving board. This teat should be done next to the wall for at least half of the pool
length or the distance they would have to swim to get across the pool. Non-

swimmers will be asked to stay in the shallow end only.

8. The diving board is either open or closed, if the board is open the deep end will
only be devoted to diving no other swimming.

9. Parents may not catch their child who is jumping off the diving board. This is
strictly forbidden for their personal safety.

  1. We ask that patrons not hang or swim over the top of the lane lines as this equipment can break.
  2. All floating toys are to remain in the shallow end only.
  3. The floating mats are to be used in the following manner, please enter the water before getting on top of the mat, also no standing on the mats at all.
