FM PROFILE # 2 Explanation
FM Profile #2 is an assignment where you need to explore the public radio program Feminist Magazine. The objective for this profile is to learn about a contemporary issue concerning women in American Society in-depth. This assignment MUST be in essay format. For this assignment you must complete the following:
I. Listen to or watch one radio program from FM Magazine (www.feministmagazine.org ).
A. You may listen (live or online)
B. Take notes.
II. Summarize.
A. Write a short but detailed summary of the program.
III. Analysis.
A. Analyze the program including the following:
§ What were the key issues discussed that were important to the women in American Society?
§ Weaknesses/strengths of how the topic/s were discussed.
§ Explain any apparent bias.
IV. Critical Thinking.
A. Write three original questions that could be researched further and compared to women in early America. These questions should be related to your program. They can fill in holes in the information presented in your program, or they can be critical questions about your program.
