Points for PC-PNDT for filing writ petition in the Hon. Supreme Court
Members are requested to kindly contribute and send their valuable inputs/suggestions/cases of harassment etc with proof to .
1. No central supervisory board meeting since last 3 years in spite of it being mandatory to meet at least once in 6 months as per the act & hence there is no control over state bodies who issues notification on their own – e.g. Maharashtra Govt. It also shows seriousness of government to implement the act.what happens to amendments which were to pass in CSB meeting? Hon. Prime minister & Hon. President of India making speeches at national level to Stop female feticide but department has no time for it.
2. What happened to MP fund in tune of approx. Rs. 7 crores which was released? How was it utilized?
3. In spite of repeated letters to Director PC & PNDT, till date there has been no response!
4. In spite of Delhi High Court reprimanding Government for no clarity on training in Ultrasound, what Government has done?
5. Lots of illegal ultrasound training institutes openly giving advertisements in news papers, magazines, internet regarding Ultrasound training, why no action has been taken on them?
6. Confirms illegality/irregularity on the part of Collector in the name of innovation– confidentiality of patient is compromised/themselves approving of short comings of device & yet the haste in implementation, no clear cut guidelines who will view images/recent sealing of clinics confirms SIOB is useless.
7. In spite of meeting on 13/08/11 – Government did not take any action on Collector. Why collector was not told to stop it, as per DGHS letter they were aware of Collectors activity. Why he was not pulled up for breaking law of PC-PNDT? What actions did DGHS recommend to government? That also indicated that DGHS/State appropriate authorities were also involved in it? If they would have directed Kolhapur Collector, then all this would not have happened? The precious time of Honorable High Court could have been saved, Money of Association could have been saved & lots of efforts of Association & its representatives could have been saved. Who is responsible is question even NOW – Collector who in the name of innovations & awards & praises has forgotten the Act which was made by Hon. Supreme court; passed by Hon. Parliament & is out rightly breaking it without fearing anybody especially Government who was all along aware of such thing happening due to best reasons known to them kept quiet & now has suddenly got up from deep slumber? The culprit must be brought to book, no question.
8. What happens to money of Doctors concerned? Who pays? How & when?
9. Inspite ofwww.gov.inofficial website of government in place why did save the Baby girl child was launched separately with separate person (Magnum Opus)? It clearly contradicts OFFICIAL circular of Civil Surgeon who has asked people from Thane region to register for govt. web site (which is also not the part of PC-PNDT Act) which web site of follow? Who decides it? What should Radiologists do?
10. Lack of clear cut guidelines by state Government. No control over Collectors who have become dictators & have their own law?
