Who we are…

St. Paul’s is a part of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the UnitedMethodistChurch. Our purpose statement is to “Make Disciples of Jesus Christ,” and since 1904 we have been about that task here in Bay Head.

Briefly stated, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus came to earth and led a perfect life, yet died for our sins in order that through faith in him we would be reconciled with God and have a place in heaven. In response to God’s love for us, we endeavor to live our lives according to Jesus’ teachings, as we are led by God’s Holy Spirit.

In a new program, St. Paul’s UnitedMethodistChurch in Bay Head is offering one-time scholarship grants to qualifying seniors, who will be graduating high school in the spring of 2011. While this program is for a one-time scholarship, future programs may allow students who are attending secondary education to apply for further funds.
