Canoes are available to rent from May – October

All canoeing activities must have a minimum of two volunteers present. One volunteer must be a certified instructor/qualified leader with Canoe Certification. A second volunteer with First Aid and CPR certification should also be present. All water activities are dependent on weather/water temperature.If the water temperature and the air temperature when added together do not equal 100 or greater, it is not safe to participate in water activities. Other weather conditions to consider for canoeing are visibility and strong wind.

All needed equipment will be available in the boating shed or boat house.PFDs must be worn by all boaters while out on the water. The use of personally ownedboats is prohibited.

Canoes can be rented for 2 hours at a time for the cost of $25 per 2 hour time block.
