Please make your course selection and complete all the details requested overleaf and return to the GraduateSchool Office as early as possible. Please refer to the notes below:

  • If you are a part-time student, it is your responsibility to apply for all courses you wish to undertake.If full-time you may use this to apply for options. Upon receipt of this form, the School of Education GraduateSchool Office will register the chosen course. You can check your courses have been added to your student record by going to your MyEd account (please allow 4-5 working days for this to be updated).
  • Your selection of courses should be returned to the GraduateSchool Office as soon as possible. Where student uptake is small, the University reserves the right to cancel the delivery of a course, or offer the course partly or wholly by Supported Self-Study or Open/Distance Learning (i.e. not to deliver the course via the advertised mode of study).
  • Please note that all requests for course enrolment MUST be submitted directly to theGraduateSchool Office in writing via this form. You can enrol (or disenrol) from courses at any time during the academic year, provided it is at least 3 weeks before the commencement of the course. If you fail to inform the University of your decision to disenrol by the due date, or fail to attend the course, the full course fee will be invoiced and will be payable unless a medical certificate or evidence of other acceptable extenuating circumstances is provided in writing to the GraduateSchool Office.
  • It is not acceptable simply to turn up for a course; you must formally apply beforehand via this form, which can also be found on
  • Once you have commenced a course, it is not possible to withdraw without financial penalty unless there are good reasons/extenuating circumstances. If such a case is made, the GraduateSchool Office can only recommend to the Fees Office that the fee be waived/cancelled.
  • If the course is being paid for by a Local Authority, School or other body, it is vitally important that a Purchase Order and all contact details are given.

For students who don’t regularly check their university email, this can result in being locked out of Learn, the virtual learning environment. Please do ask your employer to email the Fees Office each year throughout your programme.
