I herewith declare that:

§  I am aware that my research proposal will undergo a plagiarism check within the context of pre- and final selection phase with the help of software defined by DAAD Cairo office. The final decision in this regards remains in the domain of the independent selection committee members.

§  I have read all reasons for disqualifying an application as stated in the information sheet of the program.

§  I have been informed about the full attendance of the German language course and the intercultural preparation courses in Egypt. Moreover, I will regularly participate in it and follow its regulation. I am fully aware that missing days or showing up late will be deducted from the per diem.

§  In case of withdrawal, I should notify the GERSS team in writing by the deadline assigned by the DAAD Cairo office. In case, I am willing to withdraw after the assigned deadline, the DAAD reserves the right to reimburse the costs of the preparation modules and the language course as well.

§  I will inform DAAD and MHESR immediately in writing in case of dual application in the programs offered by both funding agencies.

§  I herewith confirm my agreement that the DAAD passes the data which I provided in connection with the administration of the GERSS scholarship program to the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
