poster ABSTRACT CHECKLIST

Please follow these instructions exactly or your abstract will be returned.

  • Abstract may be no longer than one page, including figures.
  • Please use the abstract template provided (see below). It is formatted for final publication.
  • No other format will be accepted.
  • Figures, tables and images may be included (color or b/w), but must be inserted into the 1 page maximum abstract.

Please note:

-Limit one first-author submission per person.

-You may submit work that has been presented at an outside conference within the past year.

-Abstracts must describe research, projects or assignments that the first author has personally participated.

-No abstracts will be accepted after the April 6, 2018 due date.

-Once your abstract is accepted, you must send a PDF or image of your poster by May 4, 2018; prior to display at the conference.

-You must be present on poster day to receive an award and prize – to be awarded Thursday, May 24th.

-The applicant is responsible for producing and delivering of his/her own poster.

POSTERS

Poster Format:The poster must be a single panel no smaller than 30”x36” nor larger and 36”x48”.

Poster submission: The author must provide a PDF or a JPG picture of the poster by May 4th, 2018 by 5:00pm to be considered for awards.

Poster delivery: Bring poster with you. An easel will be provided.

Poster display: Display starting at 7:00am on Thursday, May 24, 2018. If time and space allows, posters may be able to be displayed on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 as well.
