AGGREGATOR OF THE YEAR

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION

This award recognises the aggregator (over 500 members) that has been most effective in member servicing and development, and how that has impacted/supported member recruitment and retention for FY2015.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Award based on business metrics (including but not limited to loan volumes, book size and growth, broker effectiveness and support mechanisms) plus submission assessed by Australian Broking Award judges.

The combined score between these two components will determine the category winner.

AWARD SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The following outlines important information for all nominees. Please ensure that you read the below before completing your submission.

Submission deadline

All submissionsmust be received at the Sterling Publishing offices by 5.30pm on Friday 29 April.

Submission requirements

a) Complete an Awards Submission Form for the category.

b) Provide full Business Metrics and Performance numbers; complete the Business Metrics and Performance form found in entry submission documents. Failure to provide full details may negatively impact your submission. All business metrics are strictly confidential and will not be published.

c) The entrant must submit a detailed submission that answers/ addresses the points below

  1. Highlight what makes the aggregation group unique, including clear articulation of its competitive advantages/ unique selling points and how these support growth in volumes and broker numbers.
  2. Demonstrate how size, scope and scale has supported members’ business development.
  3. Detail a forward-thinking/ innovative member support and servicing program and how that has empowered member retention and recruitment.
  4. Provide any relevant case studies or examples that highlight success in member recruitment or retention and how that is achieved.

d) Please refer to any supporting material in your submission for judges to consider. This material may differ depending on the category and can include images, statistics, media coverage and other relevant information. Please do not provide supporting documents unless they are directly referenced and relevant to your submission.

Remember to evidence any financial or business metrics or statements with supporting documentation including audited statements, third-party independent data reports or endorsements.

Submission format

  1. Please limit each submission to 1,500-2,000 words.
  2. All entries should be typed, printed and bound.
  3. Please provide 4 separate printed copies of the award submission form, business metrics and performance form, your submission and any supporting materials.
  4. PLEASE NOTE that no submissions or supporting materials will be returned.

Confidentiality

Please note that all submissions are treated in the strictest confidence and only viewed by the Australian Broking Awards judging panel. Following the conclusion of the awards, all materials will be destroyed.

Lodging multiple awards

While producing an awards submission can be a time-consuming process, there are ways in which you can reduce the work required. For example, you may be able to use the same core submission for a number of different categories, tailored to the specifics of each category.

NOTE: You will still need to complete separate submission documents for each award.
