Greetings!
Portage County is honored and excited to organize the 2014 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, August 12 – 14, hosted by Blue Top Farms and Feltz Family Farms.
Farm Technology Days (FTD) is a 3-day agricultural exhibition demonstrating and promoting diverse agriculture and agri-business innovation. There are also displays, educational activities, entertainment, and merchandise for the entire family. Farm and non-farm families interested in agriculture attend the show with more than 60,000 people expected to visit FTD 2014. The Family Living Committee of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. – Portage County, invites you to apply to entertain, educate, and/or demonstrate for our guests on the 16’ x 32’ stage in the Family Living Tent. We are looking for individuals and groups to provide age and family appropriate humorous acts, vocal & instrumental music, along with demonstrations and presentations on topics related to performing arts, local history, health, consumer related topics and much more. Programs will be scheduled in 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour increments from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The sound system will be provided and operated by professionals. To apply, please complete andreturn the enclosed application by February1, 2014.
Due to time limitations, we will review all applications and select those that we believe will be most interesting, enjoyable, and beneficial for the expected audience. We will notify you by March 15, 2014 of our decision. Additional guidance for the selected applicants will also be provided at that time.
