Reason for Request: / To review the need of workforce housing, to extend the sunset clause or to revoke the housing approved.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff s recommendation is that the housing that is currently approved and in place be extended, giving it a new sunset date of December 31, 2016. All applicants who have not placed housing on site, or have not placed all of the approved housing on site will be required to obtain a new conditional use permit, if/when they decide to expand the site. All applicants that are not in compliance with all the conditions of approval will be required to submit, in writing, a timeline for when they will be in compliance. The planning staff will review this and decide whether this time line is sufficient or make the decision to have the conditional use permit go before the county commission for possible revocation.
