Cooking it up in Nepal:

Exodus is involved in a number of charitable projects throughout the world with its newest involving the installation of parabolic solar cookers in Nepal.

The cookers use solar power and reflectors to cook food, eliminating the need to burn wood or kerosene and therefore saving much needed time and money. Exodus is installing these cookers throughout the mountain lodges it uses on its tours and hopes the 20 new cookers recently ordered will be in place by spring 2008.

With the Olympics fast approaching, China is the talk of the town and Exodus is offering special departures to coincide with the Olympics in Beijing and the solar eclipse over the summer.
