Pinnacles Classic Saturday 10th April
This is a course for seriously fit runners, with 18 hills over 18km! Entries close Wednesday 7th April with 100entrantsallowed. The course is in Brisbane Forest Park , at the end of Gold Creek RoadBrookfield ,starting from Gold Creek Reservoir.The drive in alone is worth the trip, and will show you another side of Brookfield. Facilities are limited but a portaloo will be provided, wateris available at the halfway point, and there will be a barbeque after.
Start time:
6.50 a.m. briefing, 7.00 start. Allow 27 minutes from central Brisbane via Kenmore.( Slower runners can leave thirty minutes earlier.)

1. I have read the race description, understand this is a tougher-than-average run, and attest that I am sufficiently fit for the course. I understand the Brisbane Forest Park forestry trails are a natural surface, which while maintained do contain some uneven sections which may require care (running on soft surfaces will however reduce your risk of repetitive strain injuries!).
2. The organisers advise that all reasonable risks have been assessed, appropriate measures taken, and are confident you will enjoy a safe day out on the trails. I understand though that safety precautions undertaken by the organisers (such as event briefings, trail maps and signage, drink stations, sweeper following last runner) are a service to me and other participants but not a guarantee of safety, and will use my own judgement where required.
3. I therefore waive any claim arising out of injury, damage or loss which I may sustain in the course of or consequent upon my participation in the event.
4. In the event of fire or heavy rain, a cancellation or postponement notice will be posted on as early as possible.
