Establishment of a new slaughterhouse in Bocki, funded by the community and one funding person who operates it at the [2]BOT method

While they gathered, the leaders of the crowd and the leaders of the Chevra Kadisha[3] they settled with HR[4] Azriel Itsik son of R Abraham th(at ?) he will build up a slaughterhouse with rooms as the ABREGAS (??[5]) that the elected ones[6] will give him. Well, committed HRI[7] mentioned above to build it at his own expense. Just got an account of three hundred Polish Goldens[8]and the rest of it all (he) committed to complete out of his pocket. And as the bill comes out whatever he had to spend to build it, as the selected leaders will know , all debt will be eliminated as we pledge to him the new giving [9] that we agreed upon just now. Every butcher will give out of each cattle he will slaughter a half Golden. Starting at the time that the building[10] is finished will take R’ Azriel Itsik that new giving until the debt is fully paid, according to the Tsetil[11] of the giving that will be held by the butcher.

As a fee we will give him 144 Goldens, besides the 300 Goldens that will be reduced from his expences to build the mentioned above, and the rest of the debt will be collected and repayed as explained. And definitely it was conditioned that after the duration of one year from the completion of the building, whatever the account will be, the amount of Goldens said more [12] to R’ Azriel Itsik, profits will come from them to the benefit of the whole community[13] As in the regulation of the late MAHARA”M[14] to a sum of ten from hundred per ye(ar). And the fund and the profits from this giving (tax) will be collected.
So we spoke.
It was done according to the rules and the new regulation and …. …
And it was all done in front of the judges of the court of his highness the emperor.
And that giving will be from cattle – Half Golden, and from a half cattle – one Achtir [15] and from a lamb and poultry three Polish big ones. Even if he slaughters in the butcher’s house.
And as an evidence we sign the document today Sunday night 34 days to the Omer Count [16] (5)568 WT[17], here in the holly community of Bodki, may god protect her.

As a sign of truth and as a reliable evidence how I who signs bellow have committed to do all this out of my own free good will and so I will place this slaughterhouse in all these ways and also what I , who signs it, will slaughteralso I have to pay this giving and it will be reduced from the mentioned debt bill.So I spoke. All was done in hand shake, full mouth, in swear and agreed…Not as as a reference and not as a form of bill[20]And as evidence I sign it Spoke Azriel Itsik son of Abraham Avli … Bodki

In front of us, the signed witnesses, signed R’ Azriel Itsik son of Abraham Avli from Bodki on all the said and detailed above, and we approved it just should be appointed properly.
