2. 8th grade dance (semi)

4. E-block / 40mins / 2- Both events will take place this year like previous years. This is not a Site Base issue; PTA has already discussed the plans for both events.
3. 8th grade trip-Fox stated forms went out to parents yesterday on options for the trip. Process in making trip affordable for all students.
4. 6th grade had some concerns as to how to better utilize E-Block, 6th grade sent recommendations, Dr. Radke stressed that information/recommendations given should be data driven. Unfortunately, 6th grade submission was not based or driven by data. Therefore, will not be considered an option. Parents questioned, how is E-block being utilized?
*6th grade reading same book called “Wonder”
7th grade day by day theme rotation of educational support and reading activities.
8th grade- student rotations including Pace teachers to target those who have specific educational needs.
***Still waiting on data, from the State, which has been pushed up to November, Therefore, may need to fall back on school assessments to create tutorial groups during E-block at a later date. / Approved NotApproved

- All chrome books are officially in and given to the students.
- Continuous classroom issues with teachers needing more than one laptop/computer in the classroom. One laptop per classroom is due to equity accountability within the county.

Parents – Question-How much longer for the County trial? Radke not sure may last until next week. Wendy Maynard states it may take another 3 weeks.
Guidance –Started KAT-(Keeping it All Together) Club-Mentor Program/pairing 8th graders with 6th graders. They meet in the mornings, 7:30-8:00. This month the theme and focus is anti-bullying and safety. They are looking to have presentations during a parent night-TBD
Admin – Invest in a Panther-form to be sent home on Oct. 9th, money collection will be Oct. 24th. Funds will support development of Piedmonts running track/ not going to be a professional soft surface, too costly. May be a concrete surface around the tennis courts.
