Eden Bazaar Work Shift Schedule

Saturday, June 6th, 2015 3:00p to 8:00p Sunday, June 7th, 2015 11:00a to 7:00p

The annual Eden Bazaar is June 6th and 7th. The bazaar is open on Saturday 3-8 p.m. and Sunday 11-7 p.m. Attached is the Eden Athletic Club shift schedule for the bazaar.

For the bazaar to run smoothly, ALL WORKERS MUST BE PROMPT FOR THEIR SHIFT AND ARE RESPONSIBLE TO SIGN IN FOR YOUR WORK SHIFT. Workers not signed in may be marked as a no-show.

If you cannot work your shift, PLEASE FIND A REPLACEMENT and notify Nancy at or 510-206-1415 as soon as possible.

ALL WORKERS EXCEPT GAMES, PRIZE BOOTH, AND BBQ MUST SIGN IN PRIOR TO YOUR SHIFT ON THE SCHEDULE POSTED IN THE KITCHEN.

UDON NOODLES: Please arrange to have noodles at the Eden Center by 4:00 on Saturday. Please check your name off the udon list located in the kitchen.

Children should not be working with you on your shift unless they are scheduled to work.

PLEASE HELP US KEEP CHILDREN OUT OF THE KITCHEN FOR SAFETY REASONS

ALL ASSIGNED TO THE LAST SHIFT OF THE DAY, PLEASE STAY TO HELP WITH CLEAN UP

LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL HELP:

Construction – Sunday, May 31st 8:00am – complete

BBQ – Sunday, late afternoon

Clean up – Sunday night

Udon – Sunday night clean up

Clean up – Tuesday, June 9th

1. Attach clear plastic around the perimeter of the dining areas
2. Move refrigerator by stairs to the hall
3. Set up sushi racks in the kitchen. Sushi racks can be found in the upstairs storage room behind the door
4. Hang the bingo numbers board and set up the ball machine
5. Set up bingo prize display shelves on stage. Check with Tammie Lee on how she wants it set up
6. Assemble the bingo tables with the pipes and pads (may need WD40 on pipe threads). Leave bingo tables outside – should not be brought in till Saturday morning because of sushi.
7. Set up Game Booths (6 booths)
8. Take out canopy shades for flower booth. Canopies can be found in the EAC storage bin. Do not set up flower booth till Saturday morning.
9. Set up Maki’s sushi booth – put tables on pipe risers
10. Set up serving lines with tables and cover with butcher paper
11. Put up food booth netting
12. Set up cashier table
13. 10 bags of charcoal near BBQ Pit and have the water hose connected and extended to the BBQ

1. Check for any areas needing construction
2. Assemble the bingo tables with the pipes and pads (may need WD40 on pipe threads).
3. Get tables out of EAC storage bin and set up for outside dining tables
4. Set up bingo tables in main hall.
5. Set up for bingo – caller table, bingo cards (they are upstairs in the storage room), microphone
6. Set up chairs for bingo and dining areas
7. Set up serving lines with tables and cover with butcher paper.
8. Hang up all menu signs
9. Add electrical lines required for appliances
10. Set up flower booth (CHECK WITH ED ODA IF BOOTH IS NEEDED)
11. If tasks completed – help in BBQ or help shuck corn

1. Break down bingo tables (need pipe wrench) – please wait to break down tables till Raffle drawing has been completed
2. Check flower booth for additional bingo tables and disassemble
3. Clean and put dining tables away in EAC cargo bin (this is assigned to B-team working last shift in games)
4. Break down game booths – put away in cargo bin near BBQ area
5. Refrigeration trailer: clean out & wash down with water hose
6. Box up and put Bingo prizes on stage (please mark)
7. Box up and put Game booth prizes on stage (please mark)
8. Put away chairs
9. Wash BBQ coolers
10. Put away canopies (flower booth area) in EAC cargo bin (boxes should be in bin)
11. Disassemble sushi rack in kitchen. Leave at bottom of wall.
12. Take down all outside electrical extensions used for appliances
13. Remove all light connections

1. Take down framing
2. Put wood in cargo bin
3. Take down tarps. Fold and put in cargo bin
4. Put away sushi and bingo racks/shelves
5. Sweep and mop main hall, entry and kitchen areas
6. Wash BBQ coolers if not done already
7. Put away bingo prizes in upstairs storage room
8. Put away game booth prizes in EAC cargo bin
9. BBQ pit will remain since coals are still hot. Breakdown will be done later.

Booths: Workers will get game assignment on the day of the bazaar if not already assigned.
